Rack Pneumatic Return Actuator
The Rack Pneumatic Return (RPR) Actuator utilizes a patented design on a traditional rack and pinion, to provide fail safe actuation without the requirement of an internal spring. Air from the solenoid is directed through an internal airway and is stored in side chambers. If there is an air or power distruption, the internal air is redirected through the solenoid and back into the chamber, resulting in a closing of the valve. This design results in a more compact and efficient actuator compared to traditional spring return models.

Double Acting Return Actuator
Puretorq's Double Acting Return (RDA) is a traditional rack and pinion actuator that provides excellent actuation for all valve automation requirements.
The Puretorq Vane Type Actuator (VDA / VSR), has a revolutionary design compared to other vane type return actuators. By using a single polyeurathane internal seal, the VDA minimizes the amount of potential leakage and product maintenance. With drive shafts on both the top and bottom of the actuator, the VDA is a versatile and reliable actuator for all pneumatic valve automation requirements.
The Puretorq V-Solenoid II valve utilizes both a patented poppet valve design, as well as a rotary sealing plate to provide air supply to our actuators for both 5/2 and 3/2 functionalities.
